March Madness officially kicks off tonight, with the opening rounds of several conference tournaments beginning.
Even though this doesn't have much to do with Ohio, I'm going to project who's going to win these mid-major conferences.
American East: Vermont
Atlantic Sun: Belmont
Big Sky: Portland State
Big South: VMI
Colonial: VCU
Horizon: Butler
Metro Atlantic Atlantic: Siena
Missouri Valley: Creighton
Northeast: Robert Morris
Ohio Valley: Austin Peay
Patriot: Holy Cross
Southern: Davidson
Summit: Oral Roberts
Sun Belt: Western Kentucky
West Coast: Gonzaga

I like that you have incorporated outside facts to your blog. Although OU may not be playing, most basketball aficionados are interested in March Madness. It might be helpful if you post the actual teams playing...for example, American East: Vermont v. Syracuse (I know this game has already happened, but you get the idea). Then you could bold/italicize the team you think will win. That way us laymen and laywomen will know who is playing!
ReplyDeleteGreat job so far, Steve! I like the March Madness posts and how you posted the Mac standings as well. They will certainly keep me updated. Nice job on putting predictions from ESPN writers and other news sources. Are you going to make your own predictions or set-up a voting section on your blog?
